“What is the next transformation to be implemented into the field of Alternative Energetic Healing?” Thesis by Amanda-Jean Deering
I wanted to share my first thesis that I wrote back in 2012 as part of my Masters in Mantic Arts... I think it is still very much a idea in the way healing is going. What do you think??
When I had my little haven Akiah Elan, I found it hard to find a book that had a variety of information on the fundamentals of bring a lightworker, healer &/or intuitive. There are many books that focus on a singular subject but none that look at the majority.
In 2012 I procured a publishing deal with Balboa (Division of Hay House) and I decided that I wanted to write a book that incorporated the main subjects that one comes across in the journey of opening up and connecting with our Intuitive self - our higher self. It has been in the making for a couple of years but I am now in a space where I can say that it is on the cusp of manifesting into the physical.
I wrote a book that isn't just for a beginner or the advanced lightworker...
This book features exercises and meditations that will help one to develop their knowledge and understanding of their spiritual aspect - It will help one to connect to the basics of our skills and reinforcing them to be strong and sure...
This book is designed to be a reference book for students that will ensure that they can always connect with the foundations of their journey...
This book is a tool for teachers who want to ensure their protege have a book that can provide them with a good basis of knowledge and a companion through their experiences.
I will admit I am super excited as well as being very nervous about the release... It is wonderful to think after 3 years of writing, rewriting and rewriting that I am now about to release this blessed dream into the world to be able to help many on their path to being their true and honored selves...
I look forward to sharing your journey through this book...
The release date to the public has not been fully finalised with the publishing company (but eta is approx the 14/3/15)- so in the mean time, sign up and receive your FREE pendulum e-book and I will let you know as soon as it is live to the world!!
Much excited jumping!!
Whether doing a full moon esbat, a dark moon meditation, or a spell casting, one should know and understand the moon's influences in each of its particular phases. Working with the moon's energies instead of against them only helps to ensure the best results for your efforts.
However, emergencies often arise that can't be postponed until the proper moon cycle. The question then becomes how to work with the current moon's energy to bring about that which we need to have happen. The essence of the answer to this question lies in the basics of magic.
Essentially, all magic can be broken down into two types, drawing and banishing. During the waxing moon cycle, our work should be concentrated on drawing what we want towards us. During the waning moon, our work should be pivoted primarily towards banishing that which we want out of our lives.
Therefore, if a sudden illness strikes during the time of the waxing moon, work to draw health rather than banish illness. If an emergency situation calls for a heavy prosperity spell during the time of the waning moon, work towards banishing poverty and need. As you can see in these situations, the immediate need is accomplished by working with its opposite. In this way, you utilize the energies from the current moon cycle (either drawing or banishing) to ultimately realize your goal.
There are, of course, other lunar energies beyond simple waning and waxing moons. These include each of the phases of the moon within the cycle, as well as special moons, such as the Blue Moon or the Harvest Moon. It's also a good idea to craft your working towards the correct astrological placement of the moon.
None of this is absolutely necessary. By sheer will and personal energy alone, especially if you live in constant awareness of the sacred in everything, you can set events in motion. I liken it to going through a locked door, though. You can ram the door enough times with your body that eventually it will open. However, opening the door is much simpler (and less harmful to the body) if you have a key. The lunar energies we work with are simply keys that we can use to craft our workings for the best assurance of success.
Listed below are the influences of the lunar cycles, as well as each of the moon phases, the "special moons," and the lunar/astrological correspondences. Use these to craft and time your workings for the best possible outcome.
This cycle of the Moon refers to the period of time from the New Moon to the Full Moon. The energy from this cycle should be used in "drawing" that which you want towards you. It's a good time to begin new projects and expand any current efforts. It's also a time to craft workings that concern love, harmony, balance, and peace, as well as protection and healing.
Sun and Moon are in conjunction. The entire Moon appears dark.
Light crescent on right side of Moon.
The right half of the Moon is lit (ninety degrees from sun, end of first quarter, beginning of second quarter).
Three-fourths of the Moon is now lit.
Moon and Sun in Opposition. The entire Moon is lit.
The waning cycle of the Moon is the period from the Full Moon to the New Moon. This is the cycle to use for banishing and rejecting baneful aspects, such as disease and negativity, as well as dissolving destructive energies of all types.
Moon and Sun in Opposition. The entire Moon is lit. I usually wait until three days following the Full Moon before working with the waning cycle.
Dark crescent on right side of Moon.
The right half of the Moon is now dark (ninety degrees from sun, end of third quarter, beginning of fourth quarter).
Three-fourths of the Moon is now dark.
Sun and Moon in conjunction. The entire Moon appears dark.
The Full Moon
The Full Moon actually covers three days, including the night of the Full Moon, itself. This is a time for action, for harvesting the fruits of our labours, for realizing that which we began at the last cycle, and of giving thanks.
The Dark Moon
The Dark Moon is the three day period from the last sliver of moonlight to the first sliver of moon light. This is the time of introspection; of looking within and meditating on the shadow self.
Moon Void of Course
As the moon orbits the Earth, it passes in and out of the 12 signs of the zodiac. A void-of-course moon is the time period when the moon makes no major aspect with other planets before entering another sign. The duration of this period can be as little as a few seconds or it can be longer than a day. The Moon rules the emotions, so one can expect to experience feelings of "disconnectedness," as well as emotional upsets, turnarounds, and variability. Therefore, it's a good rule of thumb not to sign contracts, start rituals, cast spells, or begin anything that would require any degree of emotional commitment until the Moon is expected once again.
A Blue Moon is that wonderful occurrence when the Full Moon shows us her face twice in one month. Also known as a Goal Moon, it's an excellent time to set new goals for yourself.
As Lunar Eclipses represent the perfect union of the Sun and Moon, any type of magick worked or energy sent out during this time will be amplified.
The moon circles the Zodiac every 28 days, merging the influences of each of the astrological signs with its own lunar nature. It manifests those influences in subtle ways through an individual's emotional nature, and through the general vibratory level present in daily life. In order to assure the best chance of success, one should work with these vibratory influences when planning a ritual or a magickal working.

One definition of consciousness, is the ability of a system to respond to stimuli.
Consciousness can also be thought of as awareness. So as it relates to these exercises, consciousness can be thought of as a person’s awareness of, and ability to respond to stimuli. The starting process for raising or expanding one’s consciousness is to increase their alertness to what is happening in any given moment. In the early stages, this means becoming more mindful of the thoughts and feelings going on inside oneself. As consciousness is raised, the additional layer of increased awareness of one’s environment is added.
Raising consciousness is an extremely effective means of identifying and dismantling self-limiting and self-defeating beliefs and thought patterns. Many of these mind habits are so deeply rooted in our subconscious that it takes more than ordinary skill to uncover them, and undo their mental wiring. But when we do, we free up the energy they consume working against us. We can then rechannel that energy into achieving our goals and advancing our personal growth.
Raising consciousness also helps us increase our inner congruence. If life is like a tug-of-war, most people's minds are like a team that is pulling in all different directions. Raising consciousness helps us understand the deepest levels of our motivations, tap into their power, and align them so they all pull us in the same direction. This dramatically increases our personal power.
Raising consciousness also helps us in determining our life's purpose. When our purpose is clear, we then have hope of actually achieving it. As Seneca said: "If we don't know to which port we are sailing, no wind is favorable."
And finally, raising consciousness significantly increases our ability to think creatively and innovatively. It does so by breaking us free of "mental ruts." These ruts can be caused by societal conditioning, life experiences or lack thereof, and subconscious thought patterns. These ruts keep us from seeing beyond the ordinary and obvious. And to be creative and innovative, we must go beyond the ordinary and obvious. Higher consciousness helps us recognize our blind spots and see beyond them.

“HOW DOES IT FEEL?”
Sadako Sasaki, (January 7, 1943 – October 25, 1955) was a Japanese girl who was two years old when the atomic bomb was dropped on August 6, 1945, near her home by Misasa Bridge in Hiroshima, Japan.
At the time of the explosion Sadako was at home, about one mile from Ground Zero. By November 1954, chicken pox had developed on her neck and behind her ears. Then in January 1955, purple spots had started to form on her legs. Subsequently, she was diagnosed with leukemia, which her mother referred to as "an atom bomb disease." She was hospitalized on February 21, 1955, and given, at the most, a year to live.
On August 3, 1955, Sadako's best friend Chizuko Hamamoto came to the hospital to visit and cut a golden piece of paper into a square and folded it into a paper crane, in reference to the Japanese story that one who folds 1,000 cranes will be granted a wish. A popular version of the story is that she fell short of her goal of folding 1,000 cranes, having folded only 644 before her death, and that her friends completed the 1,000 and buried them all with her. This comes from the book Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes. An exhibit which appeared in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum stated that by the end of August, 1955, Sadako had achieved her goal and continued to fold more cranes.
Though she had plenty of free time during her days in the hospital to fold the cranes, she lacked paper. She would use medicine wrappings and whatever else she could scrounge up. This included going to other patients' rooms to ask to use the paper from their get-well presents. Chizuko would bring paper from school for Sadako to use.
During her time in the hospital her condition progressively worsened. Around mid-October her left leg became swollen and turned purple. After her family urged her to eat something, Sadako requested tea on rice and remarked "It's good." Those were her last words. With her family around her, Sadako died on the morning of October 25, 1955 at the age of 12.
After her death, Sadako's friends and schoolmates published a collection of letters in order to raise funds to build a memorial to her and all of the children who had died from the effects of the atomic bomb. In 1958, a statue of Sadako holding a golden crane was unveiled in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, also called the Genbaku Dome. At the foot of the statue is a plaque that reads:
"This is our cry. This is our prayer. Peace on Earth."
There is also a statue of her in the Seattle Peace Park. Sadako has become a leading symbol of the impact of nuclear war. Sadako is also a heroine for many girls in Japan. Her story is told in some Japanese schools on the anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing. Dedicated to her, people all over Japan celebrate August 6 as the annual peace day.
In many ways throughout our Spiritual journey we look at ourselves as heavy lumps of flesh and bone – some of us will look at this as all that we are, whilst others will see a physical manifestation of what we have experienced and thought about ourselves.
Our WHOLE being is not just one of flesh and bone but a body that contains an electromagnetic field that pulses with a matrix of potential where life begins. In this field we house our experiences, thoughts, feelings, spirit and record of all that we have encountered as a spiritual being.
This field exists in an oval or egg shape space around our physical body ranging from a free feet to meters across the diameter. This energy field is known as the Aura or Auric Field and EVERYTHING has an Aura. Within this Aura we have concentrated spirals of energy which collect and transmit information between our outer and inner beings. Each of these spirals contains aspects of our original blueprint that are available to us to access if we are willing to work with each spiral body. These spirals are known as Chakra’s which is a Sanskrit word meaning “Wheels of Light” and are the “organs” of our Auric bodies.
There are 7 Main Chakra’s that run down the centre of our bodies – these are like the governing heads of our Soul Command Centre. They each have a variety of minor chakra’s that “answer” to them and will take orders from their Governing chakra. This means that essentially if the Main 7 are balanced then the minor chakra’s will balance along with them – though there are times where deep seated issues will require deeper work and balancing of even the minor chakra’s.
The 7 Main Chakra’s also have a corresponding Auric Body that it works closely with to help us to gain understanding and to connect us with our higher or more evolved aspect – our Divine Spirit or Soul. These bodies are like layers each with a specific energy to bring in as well as lesson and experiences that are stored for later reference or access. These layers and chakra’s help to make up our Auric Field that surrounds our physical being and through these bodies, spirals and fields we experience our life not just in 3D but more like 4D or 5D.
History and Science
Knowing, Working and understanding the Chakra’s is not a NEW thing, whilst we are exposing more people and healers to working with them, it is not a new age discovery. Chakra’s have been taught and worked with in a variety of ancient cultures including Ancient Egypt, Greece, China, Persia, India and Americas; just to name a few. In each culture there are different names for life force but it is all the same; prana (India), chi (china), qi (Japan)... In Ancient Greece, Pythagoras described an aura as “vital energy being perceived as a luminous body”
In the 1930 – 1950’s Dr Wilhelm Reich published scientific based research into the foundation and existence of the auric field. With these results, we had our first understanding of aura’s and the intense energy vortices that appear in the images.
Since then many researchers have agreed that the aura also provides a fertile energy matrix that promotes life and a breeding ground for cell to grow. This put’s weight behind the theory that the soul is present or created before the physical body has even begun to manifest.
Also through the variety of studies that have happened over the years, there has been plenty of support that shows a correlation between blockages/disturbances/spots on the aura and the persons physical illnesses/dis-ease in the body. This means that in order to be wholstically well we must not focus on the physical but the mind, body and soul. We need to understand the effects of our daily lives; emotionally, mentally, physically and their relations to our quality of life. Once we have gained balance in every aspect of our life then and only then will we have complete balance in our bodies and free ourselves from dis-ease and illnesses.
Energy, Life Force and Aura’s
Energy and life force is in everything – Us, tree’s, plants, crystals, animals, spirits, Earth, metals and anything else that exists in this dimension. Each object has a different energy and life force signature as it is like an energetic finger print.
As an intuitive we can pick this up in a myriad of ways – visually (inner and outer sight), colours, tastes, smells, sensations, feelings, emotions, thoughts and any other possible way you can think of and then some.
Children and animals pick up energy and life force signatures naturally that is why they can read people before they have even opened their mouths to speak. As adults we have been trained to get proof of what we are feeling and thus normally will take people at face value even though there is something about them that just screams RUN!!
We absorb energy and life force from our environment, people, food, drink, animals and the universe. What we do with that energy and how we store it will depend on our thoughts, manifestations and visualisation – therefore if you are having a negatively geared experience as you absorb that energy and you store it negatively geared in it’s use attached to negative memories and thoughts, you are creating a “black spot” in your energy field with negative attachments and expectations around it… Whereas if you store the negatively gear energy with positively geared outlook and gratitude for its lessons and insights then when you call on this energy it will be filled with no attachments only the underlying reasons and lessons for the event which in turn creates growth and expansion.
As with Energy and Life Force most Natural objects including us have an Aura.
